Or you could have your engine rebuilt by a well known and reputable dealer then spend a grand doing it to get it all spot on... then get it dyno'd to be sure then f@@k about and change the carb / bellows / filter / exhaust.............

Yours was a race version from about 10 years ago and completely different to the one pictured on this thread which is the road / rally version.

I do understand what Donnie has said here......
The exhaust is one of THE most important parts that dictates where a two stroke makes power so after getting it all set up if you put a different exhaust on you probably will have to get it set up again if you can't set carbs up yourself and dont let anyone tell you different......it may feel as though its running ok but if you put a more powerful expansion on its going to demand more fuel at certain points in the throttle and at certain revs and if you dont reset your carb it could seize or hole the piston.
The other thing is that you may well have to change your gearing as well depending on the pipe you buy so all that hard work in getting the engine set best for what you have, could be undone by simply changing your exhaust.
Your choice and your money but dont forget the pit falls ;)
