Too late I've returned the speedo, I knew they worked with the speedo cable but with all the other hassle I thought a £135 digital speedo that works off the speedo cable or a £14 old school speedo that does the same

To be fair SIP have just emailed me to say they have the speedo and will credit the money back onto my card result
