tyre on rim

i would take it off and reassemble

i always assemble carefully then inflate to about 10-15 bounce and spin the wheel then inflate to 30 bounce and spin again then adjust to correct pressure and fit

some tyres are harder to assemble than others - from experience S1`s are tight on the rims but once inflated and using the spin and bounce method they are fine

hope this helps and you get sort - its tyres they are important

out of interest what tyres are they ?

i have never had any issue with michelin S83, S1 or Dexters

i would strip it and reaasemble use a michelin airstop (or equal branded quality - conti etc) tube

Sorry mate, grease is a no no, don't know what I was thinking. I was astonished that some one would ride a scooter with a bulge on the sidewall or a damaged tyre.

There is no bulge, infact it's difficult to see, until the mot tester pointed out that the line around the tyre wall near the rim is not circular. Again, I'll have a closer look tomorrow.
