Is there a reason why the rear disc caliper has to be in that position? Could it not be mounted on top or at say 3 o'clock and give better ground clearance and run a shorter hose?

cheers chaps theres quite a lot of ground clearance it looks closer in the pics 8-) .the front shock are from frank sanderson then i got the springs powder coated orange

Been thinking along the same lines myself :D, with grip tape underneath and patterns similar to the pinstriping that Col did on the paint, what have you used Martin 2mm brushed ally or S/S.
