Fork Link Bolt Removal

i tack welded the bolt head tight to the forks and drilled it in stages up to 10.5mm then cut the bolt head tack off and tapped the bolt out from the inside ,there was more flex in the now hollow bolt and it came out

This worked! I don't a have an oxy torch but a camping gaz blow lamp did the trick.

I think it was the two parts, sleeve and bolt cooling at different rates which made them separate.

Forks now rebuilt with disc links and fitted in the scooter :-
