while your on young man, whip your flywheel off, and clean the stator and inside the flywheel. had a misfire that ended up with me swapping scooters to get to a rally once, turned out it was the crap from the open mouthed carb on the magnets , causing the misfire. it was an AF light flywheel with a cover, but the oily s**t had got behind it. cleaned it and all was well.

Good to know, my Avanti stator was very oily recently and I was suspecting ther seals although it was running fine. I had been running an open Delly but had chanhed to a breathing sweet setup. I also had had a prolonged seapage from the fuel pipe.
Re some other comments. exhaust, base and cylinder joint seapage will show up on the other side of the xylunder cowlingn not the flywheel side due to the forced air circulation

Exhaust , head and base are perfect on mine all the spooge is coming from the carb
