joe i still have the malossi 172 standard carb simmoni built by chislespeed 5 years agoe thrash it everywhere brilliant, this one is another t5 ime doing wanted something differant and ive got it done for half the price as the other by the the same tuner

try the easy stuff first. I had the same problem with a rebuilt engine. Engine running and would select first gear and it would stall, adjusted cable tighter and it got better still hard to select 1st and 2nd when coming up to junctions. Adjusted cable a bit tighter and it now selects gears easy.
