Very sexy with all that carbon fibre! Did you weigh everything to see how much weight you saved?

I've only been for a quick spin around the block so far, but all I can say is wow!![]()
I've owned a lot of scoots over the last 30 years, raced in Group 4 from 2002-2006 on a 30bhp Kegra/JB motor, and been racing a Yamaha R6 for the last 3 years, but I can already tell, even with this quick blast that this is one impressive motor/set-up! The powerband/surge is so fierce when it kicks in that I couldn't keep the front wheel down!![]()
As soon as I've got it registered etc. and got a few miles on it, I'll give some further feedback and get it on the Dyno at Charlies, though I should imagine it's going to be a very similar output/curve to Steve's (Chapman).
Cheers for now,
Tom
Ha ha, yes Shaun, but like the guy mentioned on a previous post, you'll need to supply your own bag of concrete!lambro wrote:Tom Russell wrote:Thanks everyone for your kind comments

As for registering, you obviously need a new MOT.
I take it your tester has informed you of his rights, by choice, to take it on a quick 20 minute roadtest.
It is standard now for modified machines.
Shaun.

Thanks Grant, it's not bad for a sticker job! It was great to catch up with you too mate!scooterjet wrote:Scoot looks great Tom and in my favourite colours too. It was good to meet up for a drink with you and your sidekick last Saturday.
