I have not had an issue with my offset cones(but if you have then i can sort it) mine are done on a cnc lathe and checked for size every 10 to keep identical. some others i have seen are a bit rough to say the least. i sell under the name big-bad-barry.

I've just had a look I can only see chamfered later cones, which look the same as I have already tried, do you sell the un chamfered type for early frames ( the one on the right hand side in stickys book)?

From the ones i measured before makeing any, all are simular as to the angle / outer face pos. The champher is to aid the mounts over them on assembly. as the early ones are so easy to knock out on assembly, must have been a sod on the production line hence the mod. are you sure the cone faces in the tube are clean of thick paint / powder coat?
