Head keeps coming loose on SR200 smallblock

Got the head tight thanks to a combination of your tips but now we have another problem.
Bike landed back the other week showing the same symptoms, low compression, squeaky squeak when kicked over.
Eventually stripped it today expecting the same loose head nuts but not this time.

do away with the gasket and take material from the barrel or head to get the squish right, or use a base gasket again

Hope it's not the cylinder distorting under the compressive load.

I agree with the sniffer man. I hate the head gaskets. Get a spigot fit and proper squish/combustion job done. It will be fine then
