A bit more on the work I did to the piston,

and checking the head clearance.

Slotted brakes and chrome hubs are a must for off-roading! Right?

Getting it together. I ended up with about 5mm under the cylinder and 2mm on top. The flywheel would bottom out on the case before it was fully tightened, so the case was relived of a few mm around the stator. Originally I planned on running a 3 speed tranny but I couldn't get the trans and shift box to play nice, so....

I have 20/20 carbs coming out the wazoo, but the addition of a velocity stack makes them a bit more fun.

Thanks fellas. The original bars came off a early seventies Benelli enduro, these proved to be too much trouble to make work without getting custom cables made as they were too high. And yeah Gaz, you do recognise that rod, thanks!

On with the show.

You're a legend Jon, you boys know how to get a scooter built for a rally deadline like no one else. The chrome hub is good for at least another 2 bhp but do me a favour and tidy your bloody workbench please :bigsm:

Ride safe mate,

Ben
