i may go to a more sensible 4.8 with 18x47.....it rides ok,altho it takes some clutch slipping to get away.you have to work it in each gear and as im running it in its probably not a good idea.
What does it rev to with that pipe? You may find with 4.6 its ok though as thats a real grunty pipe.

ive only done 70 odd miles on it,its a fresh bore and probably similar to your rs barrel spec wise, from what ive read it should max out no more than 7k,...in theory doing 6k you should be traveling at 68mph...if it will pull it of course,4.6 final drive would probably be just right,i just didnt have that sprocket/chain combo to use,ive an 80 and 82 link chain,dont think i can achieve that ratio the the pacemaker box with those chains.

Love the panel stripes mate, but if I can pick a fault I would have used BLACK runners and trim not grey.............................................LOL ;) :moon:
