On a serious note I have an FA italia hub on Von Dutch which has been good for the last 1400 or 1500 or so miles so far

If money is no object, there's Tino's Safe Hub, which they make for the Super Monza and Targa Twin. It's said to be the best Lambretta rear hub in production.
Servetta if you can get hold of one in good condition.
Genuine SIL - that's what I used to replace the original Innocenti hub on my street racer when it came off just at the start of a 150 mile ride to a rally (and fortunately right next to my storage space / and a motorbike shop so I wasn't stranded anywhere). Rattle-can silver and on it went. That's still on there and going strong.
The UNI hubs are said to be good but I haven't tried these yet.

I have found the biggest problem with hubs is that there are loads of crap lockring and nut sets. Nice chrome ones are usually s##t and a lot of the polished stainless are crap too. They look like they are going to stop the nut spinning but there is a big enough gap for the nut to slightly move against the lockring (even if torqued up correctly). The nut eventually wears where it makes contact on the lockring and starts to spin a little and come loose creating wear on the hub splines and cone and eventually (if not noticed) catastrophic failure!
The best nut and lockring set on the market is the MBD one and i wouldn't recommend any other for safety.
This is a major safety issue and i'm surprised other people haven't picked up on this.
Also, because a lot of lambretta stuff is second hand i have seen the wrong cones supplied with second hand hubs and this is another road to disaster!

I was going to get one off those JB lock rings too. So genuine sil hubs are fairly highly regarded?

MB stainless rear hub nut kits on both my bikes, both TS1's. I gave the street racer one with the new S.I.L hub. No problems since then.
