Sorry to hear about the accident.
Give Sam 'Lambrettafinder' in Rumst a call, he might be able to help you out with a set of Li-forks...
Alternatively, a friend of mine goes to Engeland for his job about once a month, maybe he can pick up a set of forks somewhere if necessary...
Or if you find a chaep set of GP-forks I can extend the tube if you want, but look for some Li-ones first. I'm in Gent, I'm a friend of John McKeever...

Thanks for the reminder about Lambretta Finder, I have sent them an email. Cheers for the offer of conversion, that would be very useful if I can't find any Li forks.

We probably know each other by sight. I bought Johns old Imola from him last Christmas.

I've been looking again at the forks and checking alignment with a steel ruler. The only bend is here, just above the lower bearing race collar (this picture is taken from the right hand side) :-



Do you think that might bend back? What's the best was to approach it? Lots of of heat?

id say the could be sorted there not creased it might take a few tries to get right or a new stem could be welded on

Maybe i'm missing something here! But can you not just put the whole thing into a scooter repairers and get the insurer to pay for the parts/work??

Unfortunately I've only got 3rd party (public liability) insurance and the accident was my fault.

John at Lambretta Finder is trying to locate some forks. I'll try the guys in Glasgow if that doesn't pan out.
