Think thats were I went wrong...ill strip the float needle properly.
It hppened overnight, fine when I parked up after work and faulty when I started up in the morn.

I had another look this eve, took float bowl off, pulled out the pin to take the float off and took out the red tipped needle.
Did have a speck of something on the springed bit on the float that I took off. Pressed the needle vlave a few times. I notuced one of the floats was full and one empty....is this normal?
Put it back together and still no good.

No, as I mentioned before, there should be NO fuel in either of the floats. If fuel gets in the float can'r lift the needle up to shut the fuel off. Your going to have to buy a new float I'm afraid, about £15 I'm told, make sure you get the same weight at the one you have, should be marked on it somewhere.purple_pill67 wrote:I had another look this eve.......I notuced one of the floats was full and one empty....is this normal?

That must be the problem then. Ill take it off and get the weight so I can order one....bit crap as its still done under 200 miles
