I spoke to JB yesterday morning... and explain my problem,he recons a 50 slide is too lean but to go down on the idle jet size and adjust airscrew to suit so it will idle.
So the AV268, X2-2nd clip down, 138 main and the 62, 58 and 55 idle...the thing runs like crap until 1/2 throttle
I swapped out the X2 for the X7-2nd clip down with 55 idle and it goes like fook
Thinking this is too good to be true and likely to go bang i swapped the idle to the 62
It now bogs a little at 1/4, so today im gonna come down on the idle sizes
Would the X13 be a better choice of needle ????

I would personally feel better with an X13.

Yesterday i got some good tinkering time in
As i knew the 55 went too well , i started there and then played with clip positions till it bogged
Then went up a jet and started on the clip position again
Currently settled on a 60 idle, X7 2nd clip down, AV268, 138 main
The X13 turned up today, so time to start all over again tommorow while on the way down to Eastliegh for the Cougars rally..... i should have it wrapped up
