AF RB Crank, standard GP200 gearing, 17 degrees timing, BGM stator, starts with a light prod of the kickstart, always first time :D

Tweaked the carb last night, running much better, just a simple 1/4 turn of the mixture screw, and re-seat of the throttle slide, spoke to Mark about this, and he recommends a BGM 30mm non Power Jet over the PHBH..... however, next step is to fit an MB reed and cut the piston, but that can wait until after the Euro.

It'd go better with 5.2

Soosh gearing is 4.9 and had a SIL flywheel machined down to 1.9kg.

Got an OKO PWK 28/30 too that's light as a feather compared to VHSH would like to have used that but heard loads about poor starting when hot.

Sorry to hijack your thread Darryl. I'll keep an eye out for any updates on your set up. By the way I was pleased with where Rev-Tour made peak power on mine. 6.5k and pulls from nish in 4th. Nice pipe, sure Mark said they'd only made a handful of them!

Good luck

Good luck
The original flywheel was very light, how is it with that weight flywheel compared to the original or did you not have it running with that?

Hi mate sorry didn't see your last post until now! Never got the Vespa conversion flywheel fitted, but did used to run one of the old Ducati 80's AF ones on this engine which was nice but I sold it thinking I'd fit the Vespa conversion. Now running a SIL semi lightened flywheel with SIL stator. Have discovered why the Vespa conversion wouldn't line up now as 3 new holes need drilling into the mag flange and stator moving round. Idea was to go for a touring set up and heavier flywheel seemed to suit. Gonna get Ducati stator rebuilt and see about that Vespa flywheel on another casing! There's an RS205 on Ebay for £275.00 right now... I'm skint this month though =(

Sorry Darryl...all yours again now =)
