Speed Sensor Fitting

Heres mine, I tig welded a small bracket to the caliper hanger. Then drilled and tapped a M6 thread in the what would be the hub.

The thin cable was then threaded through the speedo drive and up a standard Lambretta speedo cable into the headset.

It would depend on the type of sensor used, most use a reed switch which will operate regardless of the polarity of the magnet. It's possible that other technologies are in use such as Hall Effect sensors which might be polarity sensitive but I would have thought that would be mentioned in the instructions.
