This is why I wish they had continued with the V1 Mugellos, which people didn't like because of the low port timings, however the low transfer durations made them ideal for long-stroke conversions. It not surprising that Tino use to offer them in longer barrel lengths too to allow for long stroking without the need for thick packers. My 64mm stroke motor uses a recessed head and is only 128/129 transfer timing and the single transfers are nice and wide too.

PS-If anyone has a virgin V1 Muggy (70 or 72mm bore) barrel
of the longer length knocking around then do feel free to drop me a line, should you want to move it on?
