Yes i know ;) My reply was intended to show how to get a tourquey engine with out casing mods etc and relatively simple to do :frog:

are the mb cranks worth fitting or the jb crank or is there any better. also am i better changing my jl3 exhaust for a nk exhaust

Most benifit definitely from long stroke crank and long rod than overboring to 71mm. If it was me I'd keep a 70mm bore and get ccs with the crank.
Much better choice of pistons at 70mm as well.
