On the M1 i was cruising at 6000/6500 rpm and at one point was doing 7000
Alan says 22/68 = 10mph per 1000 rpm
Very happy :bouncing:  :bouncing:

Wait! Hold the presses! What's all this then? 70 MPH bloody hell! I just spit coffee all down my shirt, I'll send my dry cleaning bill.
(inside joke)

A bit early for you to be up 8am ??
6500 was about it flat out 7000 if i put my chin on the headset
TS1 and PX stay in the garage (future barn finds) out on the GTS 300 when I go out on a scooter.
I know I’ll get there and back

8 am? that was at 9:30 but s**t I get up WAY early lots. 4:30 to be on set by 5:30, plenty my man. I never said I would be doing 75+ Just because we're yanks don't mean we're bumpkins. Ever hear of Desert Racing? the epicenter is So Cal. In years gone by it was all big ass t stroke monsters. Lot's of hot tuners and hot rod culture was spawned from the post war aircraft industry folks in the San Fernando Valley my man. We will see, we will see. BTW, homie says for me to take a butt load of photos of the porting on the cylinder and send them to you so you can show yer mate. The more ideas being shared and discussed the better for everyone, it pushes things forward. BTW I'm doing an up the coast 1500 mile ride with my pop next year. All on Hwy 1 baby!
