Black Shedtune (83) Lambretta

Imola 186cc Engine Spec

This engine benefits from the following parts: -
Latest spec (2011) Imola 186cc kit.
Super race crank, which has been modified and strengthened.
Varitronic kit, the Ultimate version, which again is strengthened.
Dellorto 30mm PHBH, Power jet carb.
JL 4 race exhaust with carbon fiber end can.
Hi Load bearings were used FAG, INA and Cam Lam Ultimate bearings.
Iwis chain,
15 - 46 sprockets, the 46 is a Tino deep sprocket running a six-plate race clutch.
Quick slip chain guides.
Pacemaker gearing
Boyesen two stage reeds,
Dyno'd on the latest step tester dyno 22 BHP by Cam Lam
Top speed, this scooter does a genuine 75 to 80 mph. It has been clocked at 78mph at Santa pod, and 83mph at the Nuremburg and the scooter has been up the 1/4 mile and did it in 17 seconds. (not by me I amy add but by CamLam)

Im impressed by the speeds achieved by that Imola kit. My mate has just bought one, the tuned version. There must have been some other work done on the engine to get it to do 80 mph? It would have to rev its goolies off with that gearing to get to 80 what else has been tinkered with?

Yes it has had a load of extra porting done to cases and barrel but don't ask me what cos camLam did all the work.
