just fitting a pull down on mine and am experiancing the same problem, pulling the tensioner down covers the top bolt. Bit annoying as a simple soloution would have been to have a second sliding plate which could have had the locking nuts further down.

the solution given for this was to fit chain and tension before the clutch and front sprocket was fully assembled/fitted ,then slide the chain and sprockets off .. put in top bolt ...re fit .. pain in the bum i know but that was only way

aaah I see what you mean glasshopper ! seems pretty obvious but ingenious when you do it that way.

hi mick , pinch the bottom one up then slide the crownwheel back off the tighten top bolt

that's how i did it (as per your instructions !), just thought with a few slight modifications it could be simplified....nice bit of kit though..

I had that problem on mine when using the smaller sprockets, I tightened the bottom screw on the guide, to get the correct tension, removed the clutch sprocket, this frees the chain off, u can now tighten the top screw and put it all back together. It doesnt happen when using larger sprockets. Its a gud guide tho I got my from scooter centre Kohn, I think about £38.00
