Aldi got some picks at the mo.
It could be the piston was assembled dry. Try lubing them with a bit of clean brake fluid and re-assemble. If still too tight, it could be they got contaminated which has caused the seals to swell.
You know what you should do then.

I'm guessing that's gonna be bin it or get new seals....
