i had a W reg one in 1984, possibly a US spec machine. i actually KICKED the indicators off it!! arrrgh! i didnt even bother unbolting them, i just thought they were horrible. now i like them!! how attitudes change. i painted it purple with one can of paint and finally sold it to a guy on lowedges for 15 quid to go on a night to Blackpool. duh! he demanded a metal flake king and queen seat to sweeten the deal as these bikes were so unpopular, drove it there with my mate following me in an escort. I'd love another now.Love your bike and im glad youre not repainting it.

Haha! Cool story, I won't be putting any metal flake king and queen seats on. Makes me ill thinking about one :S

Cool, I am hoping mine will be reasonably fast once I've finished with it. Just getting getting the set up finalised and some ideas together. :fb:
