those old "brown "........."burnt orange" type colours were used for a reason.......................................to disguise the rust that usually started to appear just as the warranty ran out............... :lol:

Did any of them reach warranty running out before terminal failure? I know my dads Marina TC Coupe didn't.

Nice colour, he chopped it in for a Maxi in the same colour. Funnily enough that ran fine for years. Must've been built one morning the Communists working for BL were something close to happy.

There couldn't have been too many of those. :shock:

i had a 72 dolomite and the bulid quality was pretty good compared to thouse built durind the 3 day weeks and walk outs ,doors would not fit as window frames were bowed and i had hell tring to get a desent fit ,funnly enough the russet blown ones diddnt rust as much a other colours no idea why though

Maybe think about repainting it the same blue colour and tuning up the engine - yeah i know i am a boring b@5t@rd. But i kinda like the blue colour.
