It was b@5t@rd freezing the other week when me & my mate were fettling & fiddling.

Fired it up for the 1st time today. Sounds sloppy at the Mo but I'll run it in then gerrit dynoed.

Finally finished...took it up the road & it flies (for a few seconds as its not run in yet). Really pulls well though & I'm very pleased. Need to fiddle with the carb, I think I'll get it dynoed.

well done a.j its a s**t load of work building a scoot from just a frame at the best of times .on what you have spent all i can say is RESPECT scoot looks great :D

Cheers. As a novice builder I didnt dry build it properly, just offered up parts to the frame & thought ''yeah that looks alright''...was going well til I went to fit the rear footboards & found out the l/h frame support for the footboard had been chopped & welded too short! I had to cut a piece of bar & bolt the footboard to that to extend it out an inch, also had to grind the frame off 4 mm so the bridgepiece would sit flush on the bottom of the legshields & with the front of the running board.

Its been a nightmare to be honest & I can forsee a couple of teething problems ahead, but its cheap!
