Anyone else managed to get out and about on their Avantis yet? Wanting to hear more user feedback for 'on road experience' and gearing choices.....

I start my build tomorrow on a tv200 case using tv box. Whilst the build will be sorted before feb I'd quite like to run it on an avanti clubman which most unlikely won't be available by feb... :barfy:

i have a avanti clubman that i would swap for a descent exhaust for my series 1

My engine arrived this week, the rest of the bits should be here next week, on the road and up the hills in a couple of weeks I hope

I'll get my Avanti kit in a fortnight.
Going to go for a stump puller, LI150 box with big front sprocket.
Rons got a selection of pipes to try so we,ll see where we end up.
Looking for a low revving fast tourer.

well i'm running mine in now. its got sx200 gearing with 16/46 sprockets so somewhere near 4.5 gearing. its got an avanti clubman with a 30mm phbh running through a breathing sweet filter. only covered 160 miles so far and being meticulous running it in. i'm 18 1/2 stone and i can say so far it pulls like a train.

What jetting are you running on the 30mm?

Tell you what, as well as a nice shiny avanti kit your scoot looks like its gonna be a belter CANbus

We will of course expect full build and completion piccys of that baby

at the moment it's got the following
40 slide
x7 needle on the 2nd clip from the top
266av atomiser
125 main
50 pilot.
