Oh boy, ok, I don't wish to set homosexuals alight, I don't wish to kill insects, I don't wish for an electric heat gun, I don't wish to crack glass and I don't work in the kitchen..
I'm waiting to find out the diameter of the nozzle..
So I guess we can carry on from there...

ok. I have been out to the shed. I have looked all over the blow torch. Can't see any mention of BTU's, Watts, joules or any indication out heat output. The dia of the nozzle is about 20mm. Canister is like a large size aerosol. Contents 330g's 70%butane/30%propane with a small, fine screw connection approx dia 12mm.
Also found my Dads old one which adapts on to a camping gaz which has similar size nozzle. Somewhere I have an adaptor to enable the handle/nozzle to be connected to a large cg refillable (3kg's) bottle. Thats a screamer.
Freezers and pans of hot water work well. I used to boil up big bearings (8" dia double row self aligning) for fitting to mine conveyor gearboxes.
Have you tried Screwfix?
Hope this helps
