how heavy is a lambretta engine?

Anything related to Lambrettas... ask tech questions, post helpful info, or just read and learn.

just weighed one on the scales.... still five stone. if it was our lasses engine , it would have lost 3 pound, but it"ll put it back on next week, ..... :?

many thanks guys, great forum and I look forward one day to being able to put more into it, as opposed to asking questions :)

all good news as it means I now got 10kg to play with in regards to making the swingarm etc, easy less than that, so I reckon with the smaller seat and a few other bits, I might get close to that 100kg target weight
heavy is good, heavy is reliable, and if it does fail, hit them with it!!!
