I would turn stator fully anti clockwise in that position to get timing near 18-19 btdc

Thanks for the answers ... talk to the mechanic today .. apparently the problem is not from another electronic ignition ....

Is Roy saying he is gettinng two sparks per rotation of the flywheel, one 180 degrees from the other?? Seem to have heard summat about this before.

I think Dapper may have found the problem.

Roy, you said in the first post that it was a lightened flywheel. A lot of people have problems with AF flywheels and erratic sparking. You could try another stator?
