The piston appears to have been repegged, I have the kit here at mine...It wasn't until you'd said that I looked at it more closely and noticed.

I rode it home when he bought it in Dewsbury back to Harrogate aprrox 25miles about 6 years ago. It was running a 34 Amal Powerjet & underkickstart 48mm Fresco, TV Length rod in 60mm crank and a 2mm alloy packer...It kicked ass! I can't really remember what the bottom end characteristics were like, but when the power came in F@@k me!!

We were told it was a Yamaha Jetski conversion when he bought it. It had been fine for all these years and never been apart until last year on the way back from a rally it locked up racing with a couple of TS1's on the motorway. The piston and barrel appear fine.

If he can't get the rings then I suppose this piston is up for grabs...not that it's going to be particularly useful with no rings

worth looking on us ebay. they had some oversize wiseco kits on there, but I was putting that off with the shite exchange rate and risk of being hit by import tax.
as david says, worth also checking jetski places, although they may only sell the whole kit, so two pistons.
I've got [most of] a 34mm Amal PJ on a shelf from years back, I was thinking that might compliment the top end, if only in an old skool 80s stylee

harry barlow at pro porting might be worth chatting to i had a good chat with him at santa pod about 240,s he buys loads of stuff from the US when my TS goes tits up its gonna be a toss up between him or dave betts at SES as to who gets to do my 240/250

Had some work done by Dave SES last year...Top fella and knows his stuff.
