Long Range Tank
Thought there must be a reason you haven't done it al
Many times but simply haven't the time to get one made and then test it for a season. The big tanks have been developing for some years now. Theres loads of little stuff you just can't forsee when making new parts which only show up after testing.soulsurfer wrote:Al, have you ever thought about a smaller tank to keep the toolbox? Your looking at about 8 weeks lead time at the minute Bilko. Might be willing to trade for at least some of the cost for parts you have or take your old tank in part exchange for a new one. Give us a bell.
Mark you can't cut out the other side unfortunately because the cutouts are so deep now. It would be very thin there and you'd lose the baffle inside. We used to do one like that which was popular but when AF brought out the Rapido 250 it forced us into an overdue cutout mod.)

The 12 litre ones should be OK with a Mugello, would think it'd give you about 100 miles before you hit reserve. More than the mates you ride with.
Oops forgot you're a "Billy No Mates" like me.
