if you like a standard looking exhaust youre spoilt for choice with variations that look similar and perform very differently with iron/aluminium/reedvalves, its never going to perform like a race style pipe and youve gotta accept that getting "good" performance will never reach "amazing" performance. My Mugello Ancillotti is doing ok with about 1500 miles on it BUT i can feel its limitations everytime my wrist gets twitchy on country roads. The first time a Harley driver scrapes past me on a bend it will go in a skip and i'll in the search for a better pipe again. Found the best performing clubman i have personnally owned to be the RS one but again it was too loud for going through narrow streets in town, all that clak, clak, clak, clak does my pisspot clad head in in the end. Anyone using the supertune pipe? loud?peaky?.

Yes i swapped my gori for the 48mm avanti on my Muggy 240.. much much quieter gives a better ride and feel mid range. Much happier.
I recon its knocked 4/6hp off and 8mph off the top end . But not had it dyno'd yet.
With the gori on it was 22.3 hp with 17ft/lb at 6000.

Dutch, if you're thinking about a Ron Moss Avanti, then be quick as they're not gonna be available soon for a little while.

ive got an avanti and i like it, i hate chav pipes and noisy tatt so the avanti has ticked all the boxes so far
Did he have it fixed securely in all three places? My bottom fixing came loose on mine and it cracked but apart from that,it was indestructable so surprised to hear that, did Train Driver put it on himself or did someone else? The 1st one he did for me in 97 is still around now up the north somewhere.

train driver has very soft hands and an allergy to work. (although he has bought a hydrolic lift so he doesnt have to bend down to polish bits....im not kidding)
it was fitted by chalky at replay and its the internals that have come away from the box.
