Well.. in all honesty I dont follow anyone, but it is in all the manuals that I read, that in order to make a racey engine, you need to make the compression higher. But then again what do I know?

I think you will find certain racers already run this set up with an extra seal where the cup spacer sits but don't say I told you ;) Plus high primary compression is so yesterday ,let the exhaust do the work :geek:

On Vespas the carb sits above the crankshaft and that helps to lubricate the flywheel side bearing (crank side bearing is lubricated with gearbox oil).

The mag flange I have has a channel running down from the transfer directly into the bearing.
