Yes only one side is active but as you can adjust them on install it is easier to set them just right, you will need to fit the hub and adjust a few times to get it just right and you have the benefit of using decent brake shoes. I think the quality of standard replacement shoes are the reason people struggle to set their brakes up properly.tha83 wrote:I saw the install video but can't remember exactly what they say this does. Can you run it down? Both sides are not active are they? How could they be. Does it just make things line up better? I've had real trouble with my rear brakes, actually just got them to work a little better after years of trying.10 inch Terror wrote:I have just fitted this conversion, really easy to fit and my back brake is now excellent. Well worth the money.RICSPEED wrote:http://www.jockeys-boxenstop.de/shop/in ... break.html

What sort of money do you want to spend and what sort of bike will it go on? If you are not wanting to spend too much, i'd go for the scootrs one either direct from them or from a UK seller. If you have a bit more to spend then i'd go for an LTH anti dive or the Lambretta innovations anti dive, both excellent brakes. You may or may not need anti dive depending on the engine spec and style of scoot you have.Suede Ed wrote:At the risk of hi-jacking the thread, thats the front brake sorted (potentially) What d'y reckon as regards front disc kits? seen a couple on beedspeed 185 quid and another at 230, (Indian gp with drum links and damper kit)?

In your case, i'd say a standard scootrs brake would be fine, im not sure if they still supply them with the crappy rubber hose or not, if they do bin it and replace with a decent hose and you'll be sorted. You may be better off buying direct from them if you are in no hurry for it but you could get stung for import duty.Suede Ed wrote:Straight Indian gp, casa 185, 22mm del, indian big bore
