She is indeed and all already has, I just find it interesting to read other peoples set ups and hear their experience of certain parts

right ...
tom ...i'm assuming you have a shop and also sell on ebay ...and under your own admission ....say you are not macanicaly minded ...and would like some ones views on a small block kit for your own scoot ...is that correct
what we do take issue with here is that there have been (ex) members taking the p155 re using the for sales and wants asking questions yet never contributing to any discussion
as you have made useful comments i do not consider you to fit that discription
are we all friends again ??

I never fell out with Tom, I wasn't being offensive or aggressive in my asking. I only asked because of the way I saw it (and I know I'm not alone there). I did apologise in advance if I was wrong. You can't blame a man for asking.
I'm done here

thats fine ....because my first thought was the same ....nevertheless lets leave it there ....
so ...tom
basically ...you have 3 options
piston ported cast iron 175/185 stage 4 professionally tuned
piston ported ally 175 / 185 tuned as above(Sr etc)
reed valve Rb20 200cc
i'm sure you are aware how these kits perform is down to your choice of pipe ,carb and gearing these choices being dependent on how you ride

Thanks for all your replies, i'm sure my customer will be very happy with the engine, and a bargain at only £7,500 for the rebuild

Never really ridden or built Lammies, only 23 and never really had the money to venture into them, so mostly used to P-ranges, anyway, picked up a nice little tax rebate and sold my PX and have a little spare cash so thought i'd treat myself
Anyway, decided on, with a little help from some others and a quick blap on a mates scoot to go for an Imola, so just waiting for the parts to arrive now

I already have a GT186, just bolted on, no matching, with an old clubman and PHBL25. Looking to spice it up with a "Super Clubman" of some description and a larger carb sometime in the future, although not lightening fast, it's torquey pulling 16/46 on a SX150 box and a nice smooth ride.
I'm looking to start another small block build later in the year so interested to see what this topic throws up.
