Get one of "Knowledge's" rear brake cables if you're struggling to adjust the rear to work properly.
Martin mentioned this back brake cable to me last week.Anyone got a picture of the set up :?: ..come on martin dont be shy..got my back brake working really well but theres always room for improvement ;)

Ive got discs front and rear wouldnt be without either now only prob i had when setting the rear up was bleading it, yeah they can lock up just dont hit the peddle to hard its just use.I think its easier to change pads than it is to change shoes how many times have you changed the shoes and the hub wont fit because the linings are to big so they have to be skimmed down :baddevil:

I have bought a rear disk brake, I'm gonna fit it to my S1 Basket Case, looking at the kit (I didn’t get any fitting instructions) but the master cylinder bracket side of things will need some fettling (on the website they said weld it to the frame struts) I think I'm gonna modify the bracket so that it can be bolted on instead.

Ref the 'knowledge' quick release rear brake cable, if he's not got any in, a suitable replacement can be found here

For my other scoot, I went to the shop on Kirkstall Road, Leeds and purchased a VW polo hand brake cable, thick cable, nylon lined, extra long so it'll require trimming down...just the job :D
