Right, i'll check the clutch sprocket after i get back from camber, thanks fellas :)
Then if it's found to be 22 i'll get it changed and try that.

21 tooth should be ok though with that pipe .
If you like constantly working back and forth between 3rd and 4th gear , yes, it will be fine with a 21 tooth and a PM. Being less than 10 stone and riding only with the wind behind you will also help. ;)

my T5 Polini 152, machined head, 21 clutch, 26mm carb, augusto 7000 had a sterling pipe and did the same, fading out at top but on long runs it'd eventually wake up and hit 70 usually just before a roundabout or a junction!. Today I put a scorpion on and will do a long journey later in the week so I'll test it then, but around town today it really turns it into a loud revvy little bitch!

It's been a while and i'd almost forgotten but, i changed the rings and ran it for a while before giving it some proper stick, managed to hit 68 on the gps which i suppose isn't too bad, but that was revving the nuts off it. :D

With the setup you have you should be getting well over 70MPH.
something is wrong with the set up. Clutch would be my first stop.
