Are you sure the problem is not your forks, or more likely your fork links? Is it definitely a ScootRS front disc and not another Vietnamese make?

I'm not here to defend Randall especially but I've run 2 scootRS outboard hydraulic front discs for many thousands of miles and they both fitted centrally. Initially one was problematic but it turned out to be a wharped disc link and nothing to do with the ScootRS kit.

I'd agree with that, it appears that anything that comes out of Vietnam is scootrs and that's not the case. Just because it's got a Nissin caliper on it doesn't make it scootrs.
My PM disc is way off centre and leans but it's got nothing to do with the disc itself, it's a combo of Indian forks and links that won't sit central.

Because the outboard discs work so much better than inboard or drum brakes that when grabbed on the front end nose dives, hence the need for anti dive. The PM disc and caliper were developed for 10 inch wheels so are less 'grabby' than the nissin type that are made for much bigger wheels.

The af tubeless rims wont go straight on a single disc anti dive, the valve hits the caliper as the disc is on the other side (nearside). They can be reassembled and with the center spinner reversed so the caliper is on the offside ( normal ) side, but the the speedo drive then has to go on the nearside, and it then spins the wrong way so the speedo wont work.

Ah, I hadn't spun the wheel so didn't notice the issue with the caliper. The twin disc is different, having just put them side by side the disc is bigger on the single disc, the caliper on the smaller twin disc clears the valve on the sip rim.

I have looked into the forks and links issue and it is the scootrs part. I'll leave it at that, I know a lot of people have been successful with parts from them and that's all good. I'm not trying to open a discussion about it, (not that anybody was) I'm just no longer interested. What I'm very interested in is good quality parts. I've always tried to get the best parts I could afford and have always had to cut corners and get cheaper parts. Well, I have chosen a path or plan for my scooter adiction!!! I have sold off a lot of my old parts, and scooter projects and am now focusing on one scooter to do all the things I could never afford to do but always wanted to. It feels great to be able to consider all these parts realistically for once.

@Robi D - I am of the same opinion, I am at a time in my life (age/career) where I can buy what I think is the best for my needs & I am going to take advantage of that. There was a a time back when I had Vespas & not much ready cash that I too cut corners.

Thanks Barry, I'll post up some pics of the final result.

No one has mentioned the LTH anti dive brake. Quality German made and it fits and works perfectly, not cheap but still pretty good value for money.

I know I looked at their site and liked what I saw, but they are out of stock also!!! I just got my SIP rims ordered. Hope to have them in the next week or two. I'll have to email LTH and see what they say. I emailed PM about their disc kits two or three days ago and they haven't replied yet!

How did you go with the SIP rims, mine arrived and the bolt is too short on the PM disc.

I'm assuming that the slightly longer bolts that came inside the rims box will sort these out, although to be honest I could not get the bloody alan keyed bolts out of the disc! I'll try again on the weekend, just didn't want to stuff the brake up by breaking a bolt on the way out, any suggestions for getting those out without braking it?
