Probably don't need to chop this much out, but I couldn't be arsed with a dremmel.

Alright Dan, not exactly sure what you mean, but the sleeved part of nut that holds the valve in, shouldn't go into the hole at all, otherwise it wouldn't tighten up. It would stop the valve itself fom seating properly. So, have you got the right size valve? The nut should pull the valve itself tight to the rim.dansuper wrote:Just to clarify - I'm doing this conversion, too - does the 'sleeved' section of the valve nut sit flush in the hole in the rim?
