barrel and rear shock advice needed

i had a new asso piston in it which i bought from readspeed last year, i am running scootrs twin tanks with a camlam rear exit led tap and was getting fuel starvation when tank got down to half way for some reason.
2nd rapido kit in 3 years so thats it with them in going cast now :P

I was out on the Jet (home tuned all 225 with MB reed valve) on Friday, 97 miles 2 up around Norfolk with temperatures in the 70's, most of it at 55 mph (on the Garmin) but pushed it up to 64.9 just to see what it would do then throttled back to 60 for several miles. Seemed as happy as larry until the stator packed up in Diss, 8 miles from home :roll:

More development work is needed on the set up but it has bags of torgue in the mid range and is amazingly flexible. Maybe something similar is possible with an iron barrel?
