hahaha -looked back on this old thread and stuck with the lammy ,in the end I got a stage 4 top end, changed the crank for one from beedspeed,a decent piston, light flywheel bgm stator a clubman 42 mil and 24 mil jettex carb - a bit better and close to 70 (downhill) , so I got a pm pipe for it recently .....and now worse , so have just bought a rapido 225 (classic) for it and now need an exhaust which will suit this kit as the pm takes it up into the 5.2's and doesn't pull 4th. So much for the budget!

Look out for a 2nd hand JL3, good compromise on torque v BHP, should work well with a Rapido or your stage 4.

I like my NK Road/Rally on my Jet 200 with a rapido classic. 18bhp with a 30mm phbh. Pulls 70-75 on the right day, 65 if heavy wind.

I would be concerned about uping the power and using the Jet crank.

you are not far off what you need, scooter loopy john got it right yonks ago.....rapdo classic 225 24mm mikuni through the box or a breath sweet filter and an ancilotti clubman or a mb/bgm when they come out in the new year. mec gp crank and rewired indian electronic kit.
16bhp on the dyno so more with a better pipe but the clubman is so easy to ride with i doubt you would see the benifits. standard ts1s were showing 1-2bhp more on the same dyno so good value and it stays as a lambretta but modernized.

you could be right about rewiring though , just bought a casa switch (not fitted yet) with the 120 stator and led/halogen bulbs and various earths/regulators tried I was hoping to be able to see a bit in the dark - still dangerously poor. Have got GP crank in now. Also with extra power thought I better improve the brakes (not gone disc yet) got one of those jocey boxershort rear brake kits - not impressed! (although not tried to adjust it too many times - I stop eventually and it gets through MOTs). I bought an RB225 to deal with all the problems I have with lights/braking/power. Just like taking the Jet for anything over 200 miles as it is comfortable(no drops)....and affordable on fuel!
