SLJ come in two differant sizes i believe..........perhaps you had the smaller one..

KBA changed the gauge of steel used at some point so it required a slightly larger diameter clamp. Not SLJs fault. He may have adjusted the inner diameter of his design tom accomodate this. Can't recall exactly.

The latest manufacturer of these AF clubmans seems to have sorted this out. All the clamps we've fitted have been fine and I have not heard a complaint about any fitting issues.
