Im looking forward to watching this. Some cool engineering. Like the use of the hub then mated to lammy rim. Smart.
Cant wait till i can start posting build pics of my own. So much satisfaction in building things. Seeing your ideas come to life. And then that first ride :)

2nd fuel tank = extra weight, do you need to carry so much fuel ?

DRZ Cutdown didn't have a fuel tank under the seat - just the bellypan / floor one didn't it ? No space for a tank though with that friggin great thumper under your arse I suppose

Interesting to watch the progress though, all good if not a bit over engineered for a race scoot IMO

Why not put your juice in that wooden seat hump, or a normal tank :o would;t need a fuel pump then
it is still an option to have a tank and loop/frame made in ally using the wooden pattern but i wanted to be able to hide stuff like a battery and a tps unit along with a programmable cdi unit so i have explored having a front section made in fibre glass (awaiting a price for this)

fuel in the frame is good for track but not a lot of use on the road so belly tank would be secondary tank

if it was just for racing I would say keep it simple, if you want it to look cool and use it on the road as well, then go for it. some good ideas. nice 'box' to keep clean lines and gubbins tidy, fuel in frame for race mode, and 'detachable' cool looking belly pan for road mode.
