Yer man was quite strict with the test today, going through everything. Normally, they just shake it and walk away. :freak:

Don't know about that. I'm near you and get through each year with crap AC headlight and foot pedal that literally goes to the floorboards. Each year different guy but so far have been sympathetic. Seem to be taken by bike and appreciate age of it and that I'm not aiming to break any speed records. Might it be because you have yours tuned/modified? Maybe try another MOT centre.

I'm going to Ards test centre next time. Went there last year with the LI and it went through easy enough. But I've took the Lowrider, LI & and my old Stolen GP to Boucher Road without bother on diffferent occassions. Except in '03 with the '84 GP when I had a ten minute row with the tester over the speedo.
He said it had to have KPH as well as MPH. I told him it didn't and there wasn't such a Lambretta speedo. He passed it eventually.....c**t

Exactly. I told him it wasn't. He really didn't like me saying that at all "trying to tell me my job?"
