I don't know the price for scooters, but cars run to about £800. It is supposed to be the ultimate in corrosion removal & protection.

Huge irrelevance but very interesting / confusing to me, is that my frame is full of ancient hazel nut shells - hundreds of them.
perhaps start a thread of other strange things found in / on scooters.

I asked about a Indian gp frame and panel work about three years ago, (they are a few miles away from me) from memory it was about £400.00. I think the priming was extra. He sounded like they have done lambrettas before, as he mentioned that there were alot of partsGBCS wrote:Here you go:

Any experience of these people Mr Fandango?

I've contacted them in the past and I'm sure they also do chemical stripping. Whether that's the same as dipping I don't know. But worth checking out.

Don't forget the title of the thread.
The clever bit isn't stripping the paint & chemically converting the rust, it's e-coating the inside of the frame, and all the places you can't reach with sprayed paint.
If you don't protect inside the frame, the corrosion process starts all over again.
