Ah I see, the magnet goes on the spindle of the hub rather than the rim.
It all makes sense (no pun intended) now !!!

I drilled the hub and recessed the magnet into it so it is flush.

Right got it, that's why i couldn't find it.
Those pictures are from the Vapor speedo section rather than the Racetour speedo bit.
I guess they must use the same sensor and bracket arrangement then.
