didnt really want to advertise the fact its a curry burner

why not ....nothing wrong with having lambhunna badges on it...the reg plate would let you know its not an italian one anyway wouldnt it.

still a great looking scooter though
you just need to remember, without our curry eating freinds there would not be as many lambretta's about because most of them died in the seventies!
as for some one not liking the gp,it has to be the best as it was a real thoroughbred with all the right mods on it and still looks good 40 years on!

joe

Some of the best custom Lambrettas carried SIL badges. Even in the days when Italian GP's were cheap as chips.

Wear your SIL badge with pride

Exactly my sentiments, who are you trying to kid ... 99.9% of joe public out there doesn't even know the difference between a vespa and a lammy and have absolutley no interest when or where it was made. Those that do care, lammy owners, will spot the plate and possibly other details too.

Its a cracking looking scooter, so be proud of all of it.

Joespeed - the GP lambretta doesn't have to be the "best". Thats just your opinion. Everyones got their favourite model but thats all it is - your favourite.

love your scooter IMHO indian lammies can be as good as italian ones with a few minor upgrdes from standard.
Lets be honest, you wont please everyone all the time, if you put an RB engine and spot lamps on an italian GP people would only moan about defacing an original italian lambretta. So your on a hiding to nothing, just enjoy your scooter its wicked and you should be proud.

It reminds me why the GP is the best Lambretta they did.
