SIP Speedo again!

Ok the dimensions of the speedo are as follows:

Depth to top of cable thread from underside of chrome ring 50mm
Length of threaded boss for cable 14mm
Diameter of speedo body 78mm

It may all be unnecessary because SIP are actually working on these for Lambrettas. As soon as they are ready you'll all be the first to know :D

Those sizes sound good for the Smiths headset though. Can you tell me the bezel dia. Al?
Do you know if the PX version will work with a Lambretta speedo drive, the cable size and if it will wire in okay?

Al, Whats the diameter of the p range one?

Do you think it could fit in a series 1 headset?

The dimensions I listed are for the p range one. I'd be surprised if it fits a series 1 but haven't one to check.

Seeing as the SIP speedo doesn't have a fuel guage is there any way to hook up some kind of idiot light to the fuel sender to give an indication that you're running low?

Yes but i wasnt listening when Diablo was telling me as i have a very short attention span im sure he will let us know though

why not just buy a tap with reserve :roll:
